Got an existing website hosted in a cPanel or Plesk environment? You can easily transfer it to your VPS Blocks virtual server. Migrations from existing cPanel/Plesk servers are free with new cPanel/Plesk servers. We will setup your server optimally for your sites once the migration is complete.
When you order your hosting, choose the ‘Free Site Migration’ option and we will contact you and organise to move your sites.
Alternatively, you can simply make a site backup on your existing server, upload it to the new VPS and then restore it through the cPanel or Plesk restoration feature. All your email accounts, settings and databases will come across smoothly during the migration so that you are quickly ready for business.
Please ensure that you select the operating system ‘AlmaLinux + cPanel’ ‘AlmaLinux + Plesk’ so your new VPS comes with cPanel or Plesk installed and licensed.

Hestia and Vesta control panels do not support a direct transfer method for migration – this must be carried out manually. The experienced VPS Blocks team will migrate your website/s to your new VPS environment for you. Please note, we don’t support migrations to LAMP stacks or bare servers.
With your email, we prefer that you take a backup through your email client, setup the new accounts and then import the mail in to the new server from the backup.
After you place an order for the managed migration, VPS Blocks will contact you for account details and discuss the timeline for the transfer. A managed migration can also include optimization for your website/s as part of the migration fee.
We charge $59 per Vesta / Hestia managed migrations (for one website). This is due to the added support work involved in manual migrations from or to servers other than cPanel or Plesk.
