Using SSH to connect to nodes and upload files

SSH is the main way to interact with your Jelastic nodes. The platform provides a web based SSH client, as well as the ability to upload small files. However, often it's more convenient to use desktop applications such as Putty for SSH access to your nodes and WinSCP to upload via SFTP. Step by step instructions to setup key based access to your nodes can be found at: https://blog.cloudlets.com.au/how-to-easily-access-your-environment-via-ssh/ Note that it is always recommend you upload files through by connecting to the application node, not directly to a mounted storage node, as otherwise file ownership may not be correct on files accessed by the application node. | |
