If you are running Outlook on your VPS & trying to connect to an Exchange server & the connection is failing. Read to fix the error If you are running Outlook on your VPS and trying to connect to an Exchange server and the connection is failing. The problem may be a result of a bug outlined here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2794253 The easiest solution is to simply disable IPV6 on your VPS. You can do this by going to the network properties on your VPS, right clicking on the network adapter and selecting properties, then unchecking ipv6. This will immediately stop ipv6 from working and all new domain resolution lookups will return ipv4 addresses. You can also disable it through powershell, however, it requires a restart afterwards, see: https://www.vpsblocks.com.au/support/Knowledgebase/Article/View/79/0/solving-slowness-accessing-some-sites-through-your-vps
