Use Remote Desktop (RDP)

Know the procedure to use Remote Desktop (RDP). You will be able to access your VPS as though it was a desktop machine in front of you

To use remote desktop:

• Click on the 'Start' menu or 'Windows' icon
• In the search/cmd box enter: mstsc.exe
• This will bring up the Remote Desktop Connection application
• Enter the IP address of your VPS
• Click 'Connect'
• Enter your username: Administrator
• Password: your password

Your IP Address and password are both found in the setup email that was sent to you immediately after your new VPS was provisioned.

You will now be able to access your VPS as though it was a desktop machine in front of you.
